We had the honor of working with Maria Pacheco a winner of the 2016  Diane Von Furstanberg Vital Voices award DVF International Award, helping produce her book “A Child’s Guide to Making Friends and Changing the World.” The book takes us on a journey through the transformation of a child who learns that we all can make a difference when we work together.

The children’s book was designed and illustrated by the talented design team at Laotramitad a Guatemalan design studio. I worked with their files, making some changes as the text and pages did some twists and turns. For publishing I recommended Create Space Amazon’s self publishing service for print on demand. I’ve done a half a dozen books with CreateSpace and I find the quality, pricing, and easy entry into the market is a good fit many clients.

I’ve spent 3 decades in book publishing and the changes that have happened are quite astounding. Self publishing is still a work in progress, but I am amazed at how far it has come.

I also created an ecommerce website and connected the store to a facebook business page.
